My name is Enrique, I'm from Spain and currently living in Vancouver, Canada. In 2018 I left my hometown and family to start this journey. It wasn't easy at first, the language barrier was a big obstacle and I had to take any job to pay my bills and studies. After finishing my studies it was hard to break into the QA field, but one company gave me the opportunity, and ever since I've worked hard to improve my skills and keep learning every day, because in this industry you need to stay up to date or you fall behind.
Today I'm a Quality Assurance Engineer passionate about manual and automated testing, working across the entire agile software development lifecycle for mobile, web and API projects. Vancouver is now my home, and my advice is simple: keep fighting for your ideas and dreams, and never give up.
